What it feels like to play
Miramar is a sniper’s playground and a rotation exam. The map is huge, the hills are sharp, and cover can feel far away when you need it most. If you like slow-burn games with big payoff fights, this is your place.
What to expect
- Early game: Hot spots are brutal, but many areas let you loot and scout before committing.
- Mid game: Expect long-range pressure while you cross valleys and ridgelines.
- Late game: Ridge fights, rock cover, and “who has the better angle” more than “who has the better spray”.
Tips that usually pay off
- Carry a scope if you can. Miramar rewards good vision and patience.
- Vehicles are not optional most games. Plan your fuel and routes.
- Use the terrain: ridges are your walls, dips are your hallways.
A bit of history
Miramar arrived with PUBG’s 1.0 era in late 2017 as the first major new map after Erangel. It leaned hard into desert terrain and long-range play, and it’s still the map that makes people say “Okay… rotate now, not later.”
