Frequently Asked Questions

What is pubgmaps.info?

pubgmaps.info shows the current and historical map rotations for PUBG: Battlegrounds, broken down by platform and region. It’s designed to make it easy to see which PUBG maps are in rotation this week without digging through official posts.

What PUBG maps are in rotation this week?

The maps shown on this site reflect the current weekly PUBG map rotation for the selected platform (PC or Console) and region (such as SEA, NA, or EU). Rotations update automatically when a new official Map Service Report is published.

Do PUBG map rotations differ by region?

Yes. PUBG map rotations vary by region. Some regions use random map selection, while others allow map selection, and the list of available maps can differ between regions in the same week. Learn more.

Do PC and Console have different map rotations?

Yes. PC and Console map rotations are different, and they also update on different days. This site separates PC and Console rotations so you can quickly check the correct maps for your platform.

How often do PUBG map rotations change?

PC map rotations usually change weekly on Wednesdays (UTC).

Console map rotations usually change weekly on Thursdays (UTC).

Exact timing is based on official PUBG update schedules.

Where does the map rotation data come from?

All rotation data is sourced from official PUBG Map Service Report posts published by the developers. The data is parsed, reviewed, and stored so it can be displayed clearly and consistently.

Why do some maps show as unavailable or marked differently?

Occasionally, a map slot may be marked differently due to:

When this happens, the site reflects the official rotation rules for that week.

Can I see past PUBG map rotations?

Yes. pubgmaps.info stores historical PUBG map rotations from the time the site launched. You can browse previous weeks to see which maps were available in earlier rotations.

Is this site official or affiliated with PUBG?

No. pubgmaps.info is not an official PUBG website and is not affiliated with the developers or publisher. It is an independent reference site created to make map rotation information easier to understand.

Does this site track players or match data?

No. pubgmaps.info does not track player accounts, match history, or gameplay statistics. It only displays map rotation information.

Can I share a link to a specific region or week?

Yes. Each page has a shareable URL that includes the platform, region, and date, so you can link directly to the exact map rotation you want to show.

Do you have a PUBG strategy guide for beginners?

Yes. See our PUBG Beginner Strategy Guide (PC & Console) for practical tips on communication, settings, rotations, utility, and late-game decision-making.

Can I play on other servers?

Yes, you can play PUBG on servers outside your local region on both PC and console. PUBG automatically assigns you to a server based on your location, but you can still end up on other regions depending on how you queue.

On PC, the most common way this happens is by joining a friend who is located in another region. Some players also change their region by using a VPN service, but there is no official in-game server selector that lets you freely choose any region at will.

On console, matchmaking is fully automatic and global by design. You don’t manually select a server region, and the game handles server assignment behind the scenes.

What can I expect with higher ping?

Playing on a server outside your local region usually means higher ping (latency). This doesn’t make the game unplayable, but it does change how it feels.

With higher ping, you may notice:

Mid-range and long-range fights tend to be less affected than very close combat. Many players find that pings in the 100–150 ms range are still playable, while higher values can feel increasingly unreliable depending on playstyle and situation.

Higher ping doesn’t guarantee a disadvantage in every fight, but it does reduce how precise and reactive the game feels. For casual play or to access a specific map rotation, some players consider the trade-off acceptable.

Why console rotations are global

Console map rotations are global because PUBG uses a unified matchmaking pool for console players across regions. This helps maintain healthy queue times and consistent matchmaking, especially during off-peak hours.

Unlike PC, where regional player populations are large enough to support different rotations in different regions, console matchmaking benefits from keeping everyone on the same rotation at the same time.

As a result:

This is why console players on this site see a single rotation list labeled as “all regions,” while PC players can view different rotations depending on region.
